Finally I had the time to post some pictures of my vacances in Tarifa. It’s been the first time that I could really ride all sizes of the new GT and my brandnew CARVED Imperator Wood Custom in 130*40 which has been especially made for me. I love this stuff! The GT is super stable, turns little and relaunches by itself. Often good or pro riders prefer C -Kites or Hybrids, but I think that a Delta has a lot of vantages. The point is that you’ll be able to learn more tricks because you do not have to spend time on relaunching or pumping up three different sizes. It is quite often that I ride my 9 the whole day long while other riders change from 9 to 7, from 7 to 12 and then back again to the 9. It is also a prejudice that some kind of handlepass tricks aren’t possible with Deltas, because they do not lose their power that much after popping out of the water. Not only C-Kite rider can ride powerfull. Power is something that doesn’t result completely out of the kite - it is a result of your style. Do you keep the kite high or low? Do you loop it little or do you like large loops? Nevertheless, control is allways important. That’s why I like riding the Combat GT, complete control and safety in every condition!
As you might have seen allready, my new sponsors are O’NEILL Wetsuits and Pat Love harnesses. I’m super happy about that and I adore my new wetsuits that feel like a second skin.
School is really stressing me at the moment. It’s my last year and my math and physics advanced courses are getting really difficult. But I still find time enough to go kitesurfing at the weekend :)
Sport2 made a interview with me. Click here to see it.
Here are the pictures of Tarifa (by Wilfried Kreuzer).
