CORE Kites + CARVED Kiteboards
Category: Kitesurfing — tim @ 18:36

The new season starts with a new sponsor. I’m very happy to start a cooperation together with Carved and Core Kiteboarding. Both are german brands, developed by Hiss-Tec on the isle of Fehmarn. I’m excited now to ride the new Combat GT and the high quality Custom Kiteboards!

Even though I’m changing now I’m very gratefull to BEST-Kiteboarding and Underground-Kiteboards for a long and really good sponsoring. You made the success I had this year possible!

Here’s a video of my last summer holidays (with “old” stuff).

The last tourstop of the Kitesurf-Trophy 2008 has been on Fehmarn. The wind wasn’t that strong but enough to start a single elemination. I had some nice heats against Nils Wesch and Felix Sorau landing 313’s, Backmobes, Blind Judge and Raileys to wrapped osmosis pass. So finally I became 1st :) , Felix Sorau 2nd and Nils Wesch 3rd.  Our dreamteam or better dreamcouple Annika Sellin and Stefan Permien won in the women’s and men’s division.

I also became Tourchamp in the Junior’s, my Teammate Sabrina Lutz in the women’s and Stefan Permien in the men’s division.

Sylt and the Worldcup in SPO
Category: Kitesurfing — tim @ 13:37

Holidays are over and school started again. But I really had a very good time! On Sylt we had a lot of wind, one day it blew really strong with around 40 knots. I also got some video footage over the holidays, so that I can proudly present you a new video in the next weeks;)

The PKRA in SPO  was  quite a lot of fun. Even though I’ve been kicked out in the trials, it was super cool riding together with the pros when there was no contest. I learned a lot of new tricks because my BEST teammates from the Netherlands Steve Verelst and Bas Koole pushed me that much!

This weekend there also another stop of the Kitesurf-Trophy on Fehmarn, so I hope to win again.
