Finally I’m home again. Hvide Sande together with the SPO-rtlichen was very funny. We also met Lasse Schneppenheim and some guys from Kiel there, with who we kited during the day and met at the evening to have a small party;) The weather was really cold so we could built a snow man before going kiting. One good thing about school now is that my muscles in my stomach can relax from laughing so much the last days. Take a look at the pictures!
Today the weather was freaking out. Snow was dropping all day long, so right after the breakfast we started an epic snowfight. Christian and Nadine both tackled me down to the ground and filled my jeans up with snow, which made the fight a bit unfair…brrr. I felt as if I’m 12 again, it was great:) We almost forgot, that it’s been easter weekend. Carsten was on fire today and burned down a chocolate rabbit on our grill, which could develop into an annual cult for easter;) In the afternoon we decided to go kitesurfing, but first of all we had to walk through 2 metres of crushed ice at the shore of the fjord. It was pretty powered on my 9sqm Waroo and even though it was bloody freezing, we all landed some nice moves. After 45 minutes the wind totally dropped, but we haven’t been that sad, because Nadine prepared a nice meal for “her boys”… steaks again ;) This weekend is real fun!
Yesterday I arrived in Denmark and I still have a pain in my stomach from laughing all day long. Christian kept us really happy. After we already drove one hour he stopped hectically at the sidewalk and started looking for his wetsuit. With big eyes he found out that he took Suse’s wetsuit with him
and forgot his own one. So Carsten and I waited at Mc Donalds, while Christian and Nadine drove back. One hour passed… and finally Christian and Nadine were back and we continued our roadtrip. At Varde we took a wrong road and drove a full circle, which took us about an hour. A really nice woman at a gas station told us the way which was terribly wrong. I’ll never trust woman again who try to read a map… During this circle we lost Christian and Nadine and after a while Christian called me saying that he
is in a place called “Number Nebel” (Nr. Nebel–> Norre Nebel) Jaa..in the end we arrived at our house which is really nice. A nice BBQ was the perfect meal for the evening.
Here’s a short video of me testing one of the latest prototypes of the new 2008 Underground FLX 132. The wind was very strong, around 40 knots and I was out on my 7 qm Waroo 08 to do some nice kiteloops!
